Taking a Bus from North-Northeast Portland: Univ. Portland, PCC-Cascade

East Hall, Room 221 at Portland State University
632 SW Hall (on Hall between Broadway and 6th Ave. Across from the Parking structure)

From the North (Vancouver, WA): Take I-5 southbound past the I-84 interchange and the Rose Garden to I-405 North. On I-405 stay in the right lane, taking the 6th Ave exit. Move to the left lane after exiting the freeway. Turn left on Hall (just before the parking structure). East Hall is on your left on the corner of Hall and Broadway.

From the South (Salem): Take I-5 northbound to I-405 North. Immediately get into the right lane, taking the 6th Ave exit. Move to the left lane after exiting the freeway. Turn left on Hall (just before the parking structure). East Hall is on your left on the corner of Hall and Broadway.

From the West (Hwy 26- Sylvan Hill): Take the Sunset Highway (Hwy 26) East into Portland. As you approach the tunnel, move into the right lane, taking the I-405 South ramp. Stay in the right lane to the 6th Ave exit. On the ramp stay to the left turning left onto 6th Ave. Move to the left lane after crossing the freeway overpass. Turn left on Hall (just before the parking structure). East Hall is on your left on the corner of Hall and Broadway.

From the East (Powell Blvd- Hwy 26): Take Powell Blvd (Hwy 26) crossing the Ross Island Bridge staying in the right lane. Across the bridge take the right exit following the road 1/2 mile until it turns into 6th Ave crossing the I-405 overpass. Move to the left lane after crossing the freeway overpass. Turn left on Hall (just before the parking structure). East Hall is on your left on the corner of Hall and Broadway.

From PSU: Walk to Grace Bible Church at 12th and Clay. Continue to walk toward downtown Portland on 12th Ave 5 blocks to Taylor St. and turn right. The church and dining room entrance is on your right. There will be a sign on the sidewalk outside the entrance.

From the North or East (Vancouver, WA, I-5 or Gresham, I-84): Take I-5 southbound past the I-84 interchange and the Rose Garden (coming from I-84 exit to Southbound I-5) to I-405 North. On I-405 take the Hwy 26, Ocean Beaches exit. Immediately move to the right lane and exit on the 12th Ave ramp. Once off the freeway, follow 12th Ave 8 blocks to Taylor St. First Baptist Church is on your right. Free parking is available at the parking lot on 12th Ave across from the church (NW corner of SW 12th and Salmon). Enter the dining room from Taylor between 11th and 12th Ave-- A sign will be out on the sidewalk

From the North (I-405, Hwy 30, St. Helens): From I-405 southbound into downtown Portland take the 6th Ave Exit (first exit past Hwy 26). Staying in the left lane, cross the overpass onto the I-405 onramp, taking your next immediate exit onto 12th Ave. Once off the freeway, follow 12th Ave 8 blocks to Taylor St. First Baptist Church is on your right. Free parking is available at the parking lot on 12th Ave across from the church (NW corner of SW 12th and Salmon). Enter the dining room from Taylor between 11th and 12th Ave-- A sign will be out on the sidewalk

Once off the freeway go one block to 12th Ave. and turn left. Drive 5 blocks to Taylor St. First Baptist Church is on your right. Free parking is available at the parking lot on 12th Ave across from the church (at SW 12th and Salmon). Enter the dining room from Taylor between 11th and 12th Ave-- A sign will be out on the sidewalk

From the East (Powell Blvd- Hwy 26): Take Powell Blvd (Hwy 26) crossing the Ross Island Bridge staying in the right lane. Across the bridge take the right exit and move into the left lane following the road 1/2 mile to I-405. Cross the overpass onto the I-405 on ramp, taking your next immediate exit onto 12th Ave. Once off the freeway, follow 12th Ave 8 blocks to Taylor St. First Baptist Church is on your right. Free parking is available at the parking lot on 12th Ave across from the church (at SW 12th and Salmon). Grace Bible Church: Occasionally we use the facilities of Grace Bible Church when First Baptist is not available.

Taking a Bus from North & inner Northeast Portland: University of Portland, PCC Cascade
(Click on any of the routes named below to go to a Tri-Met Route Map and Time Schedule)
Take any bus #4 Fessenden, #5 Interstate , #6 MLK, #8 NE 15th, #40 Mocks Crest from North/NE Portland to the downtown Transit Mall (on SW 5th Ave).

For Portland State and the FOCUS Office: Downtown you will need to board #1, 5, 8, 12 at any stop on the 5th Ave transit mall (they repeat every 2 blocks- look for the sign that usually says "Service to PSU"). Take the bus to the Hall street bus stop and walk to 1950 SW 6th Ave.

Main Coffee House Location-- First Baptist Church: All buses except #40, get off the bus at SW 5th and Taylor. Turn right (west) on Taylor and walk to SW 11th Ave. First Baptist Church is between 11th and 12th Ave on Taylor. A sign for the Coffee House is outside the basement entrance. From bus #40, Get off at the Rose Quarter Transit Center and transfer onto buses 4, or 8 and follow the instructions above.

Grace Bible Church-- Alternative Coffee House Location: All buses except #40, get off the bus at SW 5th and Columbia. Turn right (west) on Columbia and walk to SW 12th Ave (or you can board the #6 and get off at 12th Ave). Turn left on 12th Ave. Grace Bible Church is on your right on the corner of SW 12th and Clay. From bus #40, Get off at the Rose Quarter Transit Center and transfer onto buses 4, or 8 and follow the instructions above.
